Learning Paths
Guide your learners down the path of knowledge
Table of Contents
If you have several courses that you often assign together, you can simplify things by turning them into a Learning Path.
A Learning path is a group of courses which can be assigned as one unit, and which may or may not be taken sequentially.
To create a Learning Path, from the Team Leader menu click on Learning Paths:

Create a Learning Path
To create a Learning Path, click on “Create New Learning Path”:

Start with a useful name, and optionally add an Image for your Learning Path.
Checking the “Visible” checkbox will make this Learning Path available to any user on this team through the Content Library's Learning Path tab. If this box is left unchecked, users won't be able to find the course themselves, but it can still be assigned by a Team Leader.
Checking the “Sequential” checkbox means that the courses in this Learning Path must be taken in order. Only the first course is available to the user at first, and once they complete the first course the second course will become available, and so on.
Next, click on “Add Course” to start adding courses to your Learning Path. Any course available to the user from the Bigger Brains library, the custom courses created by Team Leaders, or any Reseller Library courses, can be added to the Learning Path. Note: Currently it is not possible to add Community Library courses to a Learning Path.

Note that as courses are added, you can click and drag on the four-headed arrow icon to rearrange the order of the courses.
Edit A Learning Path
From the Learning Paths screen, click on Edit to edit any Learning Path, including changing the included courses, or click Delete to delete the Learning Path.
Browsing to Learning Paths
Learning Paths have their own tab in the Content Library:

Assigning Learning Paths
From the Team Leader menu, in the Course Assignment menu, you'll find options to Assign Learners to Learning Path or to Edit Assignment by Learning Path.

Remember that, if your Learning Path is not set to “Visible” it will only be available when it is Assigned to a learner!
