Sometimes you'll want to organize your users into discrete groups, by department or location or something else.  BrainStation offers the Subteam option to make it easy to assign courses or run reports on these types of groups. 

Creating a Subteam

From the Team Leader menu, click on “Manage Teams” and then “Manage Subteams”: 

In the Subteams screen, click on “Create New Subteam”

On the next screen, just give your Subteam a name, and click the link to add Learners: 

After your Subteam(s) are created, you have several options from the Subteams screen: 

• View - shows you the members in this Subteam
• Edit - lets you add/remove members as well as change the name of the Subteam
• Assign Courses - lets you assign one or more courses to this Subteam
• Assign Learning Path - lets you assign one or more Learning Paths to this Subteam
• Delete - deletes this subteam

And in addition, when using the Complete Report you can choose to report on a specific Subteam using the Subteam selector:
